Formatting Requirements

On the discussion board and during the informational call, we received several questions about formatting. Please see below for a few notes:

1. For print materials, please upload a PDF document. Please format print materials for 8 ½ by 11 or 8 ½ by 14 size paper.

2. Apps do not have to fully functional. However, mock-ups may be more difficult to judge than fully functional apps.
For photos, please use 300 dpi or higher.

3. For videos, please use MP4 format.

4. For videos, please upload to YouTube first; then link to your video in the submission form. Helpful links:

5. The Federal government may not distribute materials with brand marks.

    Please note:
    If you plan on using a video maker to develop your submission, please keep in mind that the Federal government cannot distribute materials with video brand marks. You can submit the video with the video brand mark(s), but if you win, you must be able to remove the brand marks so the Government may distribute freely over its own channels.
