This Care Counts challenge tool was designed by MHP as an informational tool in the template of a Baby Shower Invitation that introduces six pregnancy related care and support services covered with no co-pay though the Affordable Care Act. The tool also encourages women to visit the CuidadoDeSalud.gov website or call the toll-free numbers for more information about the Health Insurance Marketplace and whether they qualify for coverage. The tool is designed for distribution by Promotoras de Salud or other outreach workers and through health centers or other organizations who provide health services for women and their families. The target population would be Spanish Speaking Latinas who are pregnant or are thinking of becoming pregnant.
