United Way of Miami-Dade has established itself as a leader on providing health-related resources to our community. From helping young children to caring for older adults, United Way understands that good health is essential to a good life. The educational tools, a flyer/poster and strategic online communications, are designed to encourage Spanish-speaking women of all ages to enroll in the Health Insurance Marketplace, launching October 1, 2013, and to inform them of the new benefits available through the Affordable Care Act. Through partnerships with local and national organizations, United Way’s ability to reach communities extends beyond its local residents.
